Old Brown Glue is a liquid hide glue that is made from just two ingredients – hydrolyzed collagen (hide glue) and urea. The easy to use, non-toxic/organic, self-bonding formula has a 30-minute open time and requires 24 hours to dry completely. Old Brown Glue has superior strength in tight-fitting joints, and it remains flexible after it is set

Application: Stand the bottle in warm water for a few minutes until the glue becomes liquid and then use it as you would any other glue. Viscosity is a function of temperature, it is best used between 120-140F.

Reversible Bond: Old Brown Glue is reversible by adding moisture and heat to the elements, this will bring back the protein to a liquid state.

Storage: Each bottle has a “best before use” date for an 24-month shelf life from the date of manufacture, which can be extended if kept in a refrigerator, but is not required.
